Our Firm Continues to Grow

Pittsburgh, PA. (January 2021) – Pittsburgh-based SMT Legal is proud to announce the addition of Attorney Christopher J. Marsili to our team. Attorney Chris Marsili is a former prosecutor in Allegheny County.

Attorney Marsili received his B.A. in history from Washington & Jefferson College and his M.A.T graduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh. After graduating from the Duquesne University School of Law in 2015, Attorney Marsili began his legal career as a public defender in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Marsili then accepted a position as a prosecutor with the Allegany County District Attorney’s Office.

Chris Marsili has the legal experience that our clients need because he has been on both sides of the equation. Attorney Marsili has both defended and prosecuted those charged with crimes in Pennsylvania, which gives him the experience necessary to help fully represent our clients both in and out of the courtroom.

As a prosecutor, attorney Marsili handled thousands of criminal cases and conducted numerous hearings and trials. Marsili’s trial experience earned him a position in the Violent Crimes and Firearms Unit, where he prosecuted cases that included homicides, attempted homicides, aggravated assaults, narcotics offenses, and firearms violations.

At SMT Legal, everybody at our firm is proud to call Christopher J. Marsili a teammate. We look forward to working beside him for many years to come.
