Victoria Brandt’s Story

The story of 19-year old Victoria Brandt is one no parent or family member should ever have to hear. Brandt was the passenger of a Honda Sedan. The male driver of the Sedan was speeding down Parkway West. He attempted to switch lanes when he struck another car. In an attempt to avoid the two cars, a tractor-trailer swerved and hit another car. The first crash caused the young woman, Brandt, to be ejected from the car resulting in her death. The driver of the sedan fled the scene. He was later found at a gas station convenience shop where he was arrested and taken in for questioning.

The four-car crash stopped all lanes of the high way for several hours. The road was finally reopened after all evidence was discovered and witness statements were written. Brandt should have never experienced such a death. Her death was negligent and the driver should be held accountable. The driver who was hit by the tractor-trailer was injured due to the negligence of the Honda Sedan driver too.
