What happened to Kevin Hart in his car accident?
When word began to circulate in September that Kevin Hart had been involved in the serious car accident, we had to pay attention. We are a hometown law firm, and Kevin Hart is one of our citizens.
The crash happened on a September night in Calabasas, CA. The California Highway Patrol says that Kevin Hart was one of three people inside of his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. Hart was not the driver. Jared Black, a friend of Kevin Hart, was behind the wheel of the Plymouth at the time. According to the Highway Patrol, Black lost control of the vehicle as he was making a turn onto Mulholland Highway. The vehicle careened down a steep embankment before coming to a stop after slamming into a tree.
According to authorities, none of the occupants inside the vehicle was wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Hart and Black were taken to the hospital for serious injuries. Black’s fiancée, Rebecca Broxterman, did not suffer any major injuries.
Months later, Kevin Hart is still recovering from the vehicle accident. He says his world was changed forever due to the incident.
